THE HON’BLE Ms. JUSTICE G. ROHINI

WRIT PETITION NO.13373 OF 2001

AND

WRIT PETITION NO.18141 OF 2001

COMMON ORDER :

The petitioners in these two writ petitions  are tribals.  They filed these writ petitions seeking a Mandamus declaring the alleged action of the respondents  in proposing to issue pattedar pass books to non-tribal landlords without furnishing the records and other details  to the petitioners as arbitrary and illegal.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the interim orders dated 4-7-2001 though  records have already been furnished to the petitioners, the objections raised by them have not been considered.

It is also brought to my notice by the learned Counsel for the petitioners that during the pendency of these writ petitions   certain guidelines have been issued by the State Government to be followed by the officials working in the agency area for the conduct  of verification of titles and the possession of the land in agency area.

Since the  relevant records  have already been furnished  to the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petitions   with a direction to the respondents herein to consider the objections if any submitted by the petitioners   in the light of the guidelines dated 13-8-2001 and to take appropriate  decision in accordance with law.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.  No costs.
